2023 MENA Industry Night @ VFS in Vancouver + Call for Submissions is Live!

We’re excited to present the inaugural MENA Industry Night on Friday, February 10.

Join us for a unique series for MENA/SWANA filmmakers, artists and audiences to collaborate and envision our future together. The MENA Industry Night will be hosted at the Vancouver Film School cafeteria in Vancouver's gastown and feature a cocktail bar, courses from our friends at Mazahr and some surprises along the way!

Submissions for our milestone fifth year in November 202 are open now! We seek work representing all communities within the MENA/SWANA region and diaspora, particularly portrayals of the MENA/SWANA region that challenge stereotypes and bend colonial visions of the region and its diaspora.

Submit by March 31 for early bird entry.
