Mahsa Razavi

Mahsa Razavi is a Toronto-based writer and filmmaker from Iran. Mahsa studied Social Sciences and Communications at the University of Tehran before moving to Canada where she earned her MFA in Film Production from York University. She has written and directed films that have been supported by Canada, Ontario and Toronto Art Councils and showcased in numerous countries across the world. Mahsa is a TIFF 2022 Talent Accelerator Fellow and a member of the Canadian Academy of Film and Television. Mahsa is a TIFF 2022 Talent Accelerator Fellow and is currently working on her first feature film, The River Will Carry Us, which has been selected to be produced under the Telefilm Canada Talent to Watch Program.
