Here, the post-archive responds to the lack of physical documentation of Bibi Amir, who passed away in the early 1990s in the aftermath of the Soviet Occupation. As the storytelling makes it clear, memories of my maternal grandmother are limited as they become eclipsed by gaps in representing an unknowability both by my family and the audience gazing towards us. Unknowability, opacity, refusal, and absence are ever-present.
