2023 MENA Canada Filmmaking Grant-winning film. Screened at MENA 5 as a work in progress preview.
Synopsis:

Following a sudden disagreement, a Qatari girl runs away from her controlling father during a family day out.

What kind of impact do Qatari artists have on our society? This question echoes in my mind whenever I see paintings or sculpture around KataraCultural Village. From my perspective, the core objective of meaningful art is to enrich debate, generating a diversity of opinions, leading to evolving healthy attitudes within the community. If the only objective of these artworks is beautification, then they do not fulfill their true function in the community.
