Amir Bensaïfi

Amir Bensaïfi is an author / director, born in Constantine in eastern Algeria.

While studying at university, he was one of the founding members of the Constantine film club. After obtaining his engineering degree in electronics, Amir quickly turned to his passion, cinema. He began several training courses in Algeria and abroad, in particular: The Ateliers Varan Paris. After having worked on several cinematographic projects as an editor and as an assistant director, he launched his production company B.H.A productions and co-produced a documentary film broadcast on Ushuaia TV, Amir directed and produced his first short film ‘The moped and the goldfinch’.
