Sahand Sarhaddi (B.1991 Tehran) is a Filmmaker & Visual artist grappling with historical archives, literature, and photography, seeking innovative narrative pathways through an unconventional exploration of history and unofficial Narratives.
Alumni of Berlinale Talents 2023 & Dramatic Literature at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tehran University in 2015. His artistic work focuses on integrating untold stories in history, photography, music, and literature.
He has participated in more than ten solo and group exhibitions (including photography, video art, and performance art) and created three short and one feature-length film that has been screened at festivals such as Berlinale, Kasseler Dok, Jihlava, Black Movie, Tehran Short Film, Cinema-Verite, Fajr, VideoFormes, and Ibrida.
Winner of the Emerging Video Prize in the 39th VIDEOFORMES Festival, 2024
