Kamee Abrahamian

Kamee is a queer SWANA artist, storyteller, producer, mother, waitress and witch whose life and work summons ancestral reclamation, diasporic futurism, visionary world-building and justice. Their work spans across narrative & documentary film, visual & media art, staged & immersive performances, magazines, podcasts, workshops, and festivals.

Kamee's work has been supported by organizations across Canada, USA and Armenia, including Sundance, HotDocs and Catapult. They're a Pushcart nominated writer, a literary alumni at VONA and Banff Center for Arts, and a Lambda-awarded theatre maker. They recently published a children’s book, debuted a mixed-media collection called "Flesh, Immemorial" and are currently developing multiple projects for the screen.
