On the occasion of the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, MENA acknowledges the work we have yet to undertake to earn the trust and welcome of our unwitting hosts on these lands. Decolonization is part of MENA’s mandate and we strive to be ethical actors on this land and loyal allies to the Indigenous community.
On this #OrangeShirtDay, we have put together a brief list of online resources that offer backgrounds, timelines and resource pages to better foreground Indigenous voices – who are the first and true stewards of the land.
Please connect with us in case we've overlooked anything and we will be happy to add it to the list: firstname.lastname@example.org
